Mountains

These were the first mountains I ever saw. Proper mountains, that is, not like the little piddling things we've got in Australia. The clouds peeled back to reveal them only after we'd reached the lookout, as if they'd been waiting so that my first view would be clear and crisp and bathed in the warmth of the sun.
